Enjoy These Hearty Beans On A Cold Winter’s Day – Or ANY Time Of Year!
My children have quite an unsavory name for baked beans. Are you ready for this? OK, here it goes…my kiddos call baked beans fart pebbles. Yep, you read that right, fart pebbles. Now, I’m not too keen on them saying the word fart but I have to admit, I did hide my face and giggle a bit when my five year old said this to me the other day. Anyway, all jokes aside, these lumberjack beans are some real good eatin’! I love the brown sugar in this recipe as it gives the beans a sweet and sultry flavor. You can make these beans in the oven or the Crock Pot. Yay!
And guess what else? You get to use a can of Bush’s baked beans in the mix. Feel free to use any brand that you want but I personally feel Bush’s is the best.
I’m super excited that you get to make these down-on-the-farm type beans. Eat up!
