There’s no denying the fact that I am in love with grilled cheese sandwiches. I make them at least once a week, sometimes more. My kids share the same passion for the crunchy food that I do. My five year old daughter will often eat two sandwiches in one setting! I can’t even do that. It’s too bad that we can’t eat them all the time, because I would definitely be able to go for that. Once in a while though, we have to try something different, like meatloaf. My husband loves his meatloaf. There’s just something about biting into a big ol’ chunk of ground beef that satisfied him.
The kids don’t really care for meatloaf, so we always end up with a decent amount of leftovers. When I found this recipe on My Recipes for a grilled meatloaf sandwich, I knew it was going to be a new family favorite.
The kids, husband, and I all equally enjoyed these. My daughter didn’t even need to eat two. She was completely satisfied with the one sandwich, which was nice for a change. It was also nice to not have any leftover meatloaf to throw away for a change. That hardly ever happens.
