Whenever I encounter a dish that reminds me of grandma’s cooking, I feel a bit melancholic and happy at the same time. Melancholic because I won’t ever get to taste the particular dish again in the way that she would have cooked. Happy because with the dish came the fun memories of childhood when everything seemed less stressful and more innocent. Childhood days were the days when we didn’t have to worry about bills or work or anything. We just had to worry about whether we would like the dish that would be served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
One of my favorite dishes that grandma always cooked when I was a little girl was her chicken florentine. She made it pretty simple, yet it tasted so good that it was probably one of the reasons I grew up loving chicken. Her was always creamy but at the same time not that rich that you would get tired of the dish easily. I remember that she always encouraged us to eat the spinach too, which was quite alright with me because I wasn’t that picky. This recipe which reminds me of grandma’s recipe is a guaranteed best seller. Try this and you will see how much people will love it.
