Last Saturday I was staring at the calendar trying to figure out what I was forgetting and why I hadn’t written anything down.
Then, it dawned on me like a lightbulb going off over my head. POTLUCK SUNDAY. Ugh! I had forgotten that tomorrow was my church’s annual potluck meal. How could I forget?! We have a potluck meal once a month every month. I think I’m still coming down from the excitement of the holidays and my brain is still a bit toasty. What on earth was I going to whip up at 10 pm on a Saturday evening? So, I took to the internet to try and find an easy dessert to take along.
That’s when I came across this delicious recipe for condensed milk brownie pie. I don’t know what caught my eye first the yummy chocolate chips or the word “easy” in the recipe. After further inspection, I saw that the ingredients list wasn’t very long and the directions looked insanely simple. So, I searched my pantry in hopes that I had everything that I needed to whip up this yummy dessert and low and behold, I did. By 11:30 pm my pie was resting comfortably in the fridge and ready to be served the next day during Sunday potluck. Enjoy!
