You’ll Be Singing We Are Family as You All Sit Together for a great meal. This is a time to catch up and see how everyone is doing in my household. We have plenty of time together to chill on weekends, but weekdays are just plain nuts. In fact, with two big kids and a husband that works both 2nd shift and the night shift, we barely have time to say, “Hello, how was your day.” Always busy running to work and to sports activities it’s nice to have a meal that can be whipped up fast and doesn’t lose any of the flavor and ability to fill everyone up.
In my opinion, your family and mine need fuel to finish the day and this chicken, broccoli and rice dish made in just one pot does that with ease. It’s such a classic combination that everyone will love it, so you don’t have to worry about anyone turning up their nose and saying they aren’t hungry – which is always a bonus!
