Check out what our pals over at A Lot Of Recipes have to say about this tongue-pleasing potato and sausage bake:
“This meal gives you your meat and potatoes all in one. It’s a very simple meal to put together because all you have to do is cut, slice, season and bake..and it all goes on the same baking tray …lined with foil. So can you imagine how easy the cleanup is as well!”
I didn’t have any foil when I made this casserole, so I liberally sprayed my baking dish with Pam to avoid sticking. The clean up wasn’t to terribly bad, but I think I will be using aluminum foil the next time.
Ingredients
1 package of Thorn Apple Valley smoked sausage, sliced
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
5 large potatoes, peeled (optional) and chopped into ½ inch cubes
Bertolli olive oil
Morton salt
McCormick pepper
McCormick paprika
McCormick dried thyme
1 Cup Kraft shredded cheddar cheese
