If you’ve taken a good look at our photo, you probably think you’ve got this pie recipe all figured out. However, looks can be very deceiving, and a picture is worth a thousand words. You aren’t staring at pumpkin pie, but rather a sweet potato! Can you believe it?

The amazing thing about it all is that sweet potato pie and pumpkin pie not only look identical, but they taste relatively similar. In fact, when I served this pie to my picky eaters last week for dessert, they didn’t even know that they weren’t noshing on pumpkin pie. Brilliant!

Quick Tip: Add a dollop of Cool Whip to this pie as a sweet garnish.

We’ve All Made Chocolate Cookies Before, But We’ve Never Made Them THIS GOOD

Have you ever made a chocolate chip cookie so good that you were grabbing for another before you finished the first? That’s exactly what happens when you use this recipe.

These are, hands down, the BEST chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. I’m not just saying that either. For one, these cookies come out HUGE. They are perfect for fundraisers, church events, and sharing with friends, family, and the neighbors. Butter, chocolate chips, white and brown sugar, and a pinch of love go into these marvelous cookies. This will be the only chocolate chip cookie recipe that you’ll ever need in your life.

But, you know, taste is not enough – at least not in my book! As a busy, working mom I don’t have time for “the complicated stuff”, and that means I also want my cookies to be super easy to make. This are just that, and this recipe never fails! Even my little sister said these turned out beautifully – bless her, but she just isn’t the professional baker type of lady…

banana bread, Blue Diamond walnuts, Clabber Girl baking soda, Creme Fraiche, Daisy sour cream, Dole bananas, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, ground cinnamon, ice cream, Johnsonville, Kraft, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, recipe, TruMoo milk, vanilla extract, Wesson vegetable oil

Warm, sweet, and fresh out of the oven are how I like to eat my banana bread. Add a pat of salty butter to the top and enjoy with a cup of tea or a tall glass of milk. Yum! I don’t know about you, but banana bread is a staple around my humble abode. It’s more like a dessert or afternoon snack versus just a plain old banana bread.

I know, we’ve all got our favorite banana bread recipes that have probably been passed down through the generations, but Folks, this recipe is amazing. We are willing to bet that it’s on par with your great great granny’s BB recipe. If you enjoy your banana bread moistly and flavorful, get clicking to the next page for the ingredients so you can get started on your loaf.

Life is all about enjoying the little things. Finding the perfect frosting recipe fits into this category perfectly. For years, buttercream frosting has been the staple dressing for cakes and cupcakes. I can remember my mother mixing up a bowl of the rich, creamy goodness by hand. I’d always get to lick the spoon.

Once you whip up your first batch of this sugary sweet buttercream frosting, you won’t ever turn to store-bought again. The texture of this frosting is so smooth and dreamy. I can’t believe how spreadable it is! How many times have you allowed your cake to cool completely only to still have the frosting tear up the top layer like a farmer turns up his fields during planting season? That doesn’t happen with this recipe.

Quick Tip: This recipe is for vanilla, but the flavor can easily be changed to whatever you’d like it to be using your favorite McCormick flavoring.

Make Taco Night Interesting With This Mexican Salad

avocados, Bertolli, chili powder, corn, cotija cheese, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, extra virgin olive oil, food, garlic cloves, Gold Medal flour, Johnsonville, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, lime, mayonnaise, McCormick spices, Morton salt, onino, Parsley, recipe, TruMoo milk, Wesson vegetable oil

Bring something new to your spring and summer picnics this year when you show up with a bowl of this savory Mexican corn salad. Unlike traditional side dishes, this salad kicks up the spice factor a few notches by incorporating onion, garlic, and red pepper to the mix. Who doesn’t enjoy a spicy salad made with fresh ingredients?

I made this salad as a side dish on taco Tuesday, and boy, was it ever a hit! I served warm flour tortillas, crunchy taco shells, all the fixings, and refined beans alongside this amazing salad. I found that it tasted really good inside of the tortillas. If you wanted, you could even eat this salad warm, but we prefer it as a cold side dish.
