With a brand new school year started, I’ve been trying to find new breakfast ideas to feed my kids in the morning. Typically, i don’t like to give them anything to sugary right off the bat when they wake up, but these french toast sticks looked too good to pass up. Once in awhile won’t hurt anything, right? Everything in moderation. Anyway, you should have seen my kid’s eyes this morning when I placed piping hot plates of stuffed french toast sticks before them. They were totally expecting cold cereal or a fried egg at the very least, but what they got was a feast!
To be fair, I didn’t let them use any syrup on the sticks because there was enough sugar in them as it was. They didn’t complain. I seems like the French toast sticks made a huge impression on them and they left for their first day of school pretty happy.

Quick Tip: I served these french toast sticks with fresh berries and a tiny sprinkle of powdered sugar.
