If there is one thing that I cannot live without it would be chocolate chip banana bread. Now, don’t get me wrong, I adore regular banana bread but there is just something incredibly about the chocolate chip variety. I guess it would have to be the chocolate chips LOL! Chocolate makes everything better. I always seem to have an over-abundance of brown bananas chilling in my freezer. I buy bananas each week because my kids love them but we always have one or two that start to turn brown. Into the freezer they go!
When making chocolate chip banana bread I’ll typically thaw out 2 or 3 frozen bananas. The more nanners the moister the bread. To thaw, simply place the bananas under hot running water.
You don’t have to worry about the stringy bits or brown pieces either as they incorporate into the bread, well. Just mash ’em up with a fork and add your other ingredients and there you have it.

Quick Tip: You can use semi-sweet chocolate chips if you don’t have any milk chocolate chips.
