With as much as my husband and I love to host people over for dinner, we figured the best thing we can do is curate one or two great dinner recipes that we can always make for guests. We can always keep the ingredients necessary stocked and be ready for when people are coming over. We gathered a bunch of recipes, bought the ingredients and then headed over to pick up the grandkids. We were going to make sure everything we made was kid approved. Well, our grandkids tried everything we made.
Based on their reactions and love or hatred for the food, we decided whether or not we could serve it to guests (most of our dinner guests had kids after all so this was a great way to weed out adultish recipes). We went through so many main dishes and then through different sides.
Finally, we came upon this olive cheese bread recipe. We were certain the kids would not like it due to the olives, but because of the amount of cheese over this, they absolutely loved it! It was a huge hit that we now serve to everyone at every dinner we host. And everyone has always loved it, too!
