I don’t know how it is in your household, but my husband is incredibly picky and so are my kids. I can’t even cook a thing with him around because he’ll complain about some of the ingredients I throw in; but if he doesn’t see it, he usually praises me about how amazing it tastes – go figure! Thankfully this mouth-watering slow cooker meal allows you to switch up the vegetables for picky eaters, but still offers all the flavor.
I guarantee everyone will love this meal! The first time I made it my family was already sold on it due to the slow cooker smells drifting through the house hours before it was ready. My husband immediately asked what was for dinner when he walked through the door from work. When I told him honey garlic chicken and potatoes his eyes lit up like I just bought him a new set of golf clubs. Truly, the leftovers taste even better as the meat and vegetables soak in the sauce, but there’s a good chance none will be left at all.

Quick Tip: Be sure to place the chosen vegetables in the crock first so the juices from the chicken seep down over them for added flavor.
