I am all about putting on large Sunday dinners that are filled with family, laughter, and great eats! When I was a little, my mother would always have a massive Sunday dinner planned that would greet our family members after the church service.
She’d often use her slow cooker, and by the time we pulled up in the driveway after church, you could smell the food cooking from outside. Yum! I have since carried on this tradition with my own family. This past Sunday, I prepared a garlic brisket in my Crock Pot, and boy oh boy, was it ever a hit!
It was so tender and juicy and paired well next to creamy mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and freshly baked bread. The best part about it was how easy the brisket was to make. You simply toss your ingredients into the slow cooker, set it, and forget it!

Quick Tip: If mashed potatoes aren’t your thing (how could they not be?!?!) toss a few sliced spuds and a handful of carrots into the slow cooker along with the brisket. Tasty!
