Skip the bun with this take on a fast food classic – It may be called impossible but it’s possibly the BEST casserole ever
Bacon cheeseburgers… the thought makes me drool to be honest. I don’t even care if I had one the day before, I could have another. There are tons of topping combinations for those that love this all American meal. I prefer Swiss cheese, mushrooms, grilled onions and barbecue sauce with of course, bacon. Other times I’ll go for the classic cheddar and bacon with fresh onion, pickle, ketchup and mustard. However, you love it most those flavors are undeniably good.
So are you craving a bacon cheeseburger now? I am! That’s why I’m going to whip up this casserole version and see how the family likes it. I’ve made a basic hamburger pie before, but never one with bacon. I have a feeling it’ll put it over the edge! I know the family will love it and it seems like it’ll be super easy to throw together. I remember my mom making a Bisquick version of this minus the bacon.

Quick Tip: If you like mushrooms too, you could saute and season them, then throw some in the beef mixture.
