The addition of bacon to deviled eggs is oddly something I’d never thought of. You’d think bacon and eggs go together like peanut butter and jelly – am I right? So why on earth weren’t these more popular before now? All I know is that I am loving them! I mean, I already loved regular deviled eggs so it was an easy sell. Throw bacon on anything and you make it ten times better, no one can deny that fact. If you’ve never had the pleasure of having them this way then you should definitely and immediately whip up a batch and treat yourself.
I made these for a family picnic and the best part of it was the reaction I got from my great aunt. She said, and I quote, “Oh my word, do those have bacon on them?” Then of course she grabbed a couple and walked away to tell everyone else.
