I know quite a few people (both, adults and kids) who love corn dogs. And who wouldn’t? It’s one of the most traditional snacks I can think of, although I’m sure over the years there have been a lot of modern variations of the dish as well. Here’s one that I had never even thought of! Which is strange, because this idea is brilliant.
This recipe is for corn dogs, but not your usual fried ones. These dogs are baked into the batter, in a baking dish, in your oven. No hassle with frying these in oil, and definitely no massive cleanup afterwards Your kids will be thrilled when they find a surprise inside their corn bread! And I’m pretty sure the big kids (yes, I do mean the husbands) will be thrilled, too. This recipe is very versatile and you can add some of your favorite ingredients to make sure this becomes your #1 favorite!
