Just about every time I ask my kids what they want for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I get pretty much the same response. They want macaroni and cheese. They will eat it from the box, homemade, whatever I have the time for whipping together. Unfortunately, with our busy schedules, a boxed version is the best that we can do most of the time. When I can take some time out to do it though, homemade from the oven it is. I just wished that I had the perfect recipe, so that it would make it all worth it when it came out. That’s when I found this recipe on My Recipes. It was the answer to my prayers.
I like mac and cheese for sure, but my taste for it is no where near that of the kids, or that was the case until I made this. When the timer went off on the oven and this piping hot dish came out, I was instantly in love with it.
It looked so ooey, gooey, and delicious, I couldn’t wait for it to cool down before taking a great big bite. It was just as good as it looked!
