The meat paired up nicely with mashed, baked, and scalloped potatoes. We wanted to give the people their own choice so we made a little bit of each. There were also dinner rolls and steamed green beans so it was a nice home cooked meal that was something besides spaghetti. I think I heard some parents talking about doing the same fundraiser again next year when the new eight graders are getting money together to take their trip to Washington D.C. Might as well stick with what works!
No more boring ham at my house… this stuff is awesome!
Ingredients
10-12 lb uncooked shank portion ham
3 Tbsp dijon mustard
1 c Domino brown sugar
1/2 c honey
1 tsp McCormick’s cinnamon
Instructions
Trim fat and score in a diamond pattern. This looks nice but also allows the fat to render while cooking. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes per pound until internal temperature is 160.
Meanwhile mix mustard, brown sugar, honey, and cinnamon together.
During the last 45 minutes of cooking spread glaze over ham.
Slice into thin slices.

Quick Tip: Increase or decrease glaze to match the size of the ham.
