How To Make Your Family Happy
The other day I was chatting with my husband on what some of his favorite foods are to eat. I mean, I know most of them but he’s a guy whose tastes seem to be always changing so I thought I’d update my files haha! My husband told me that he had a real hankering for homemade meatballs. I love making meatballs but I hadn’t made them in quite a long time. This recipe is for Italian meatballs and they can be eaten in a variety of ways like in spaghetti or sandwiches.
We opted toe at these meatballs in marinara sauce on hoagie rolls with mozzarella cheese. I had some meatballs leftover so we had them in spaghetti sauce over noodles the following evening.
Don’t you just love it when you can make one meal one night and transform the leftovers into a completely different meal the next? Enjoy!

No ground pork or ground veal? Kraft cheese? Mama Mia!
1 c 4C bread crumbs, fresh
I don’t understand 1 c 4C. only makes sense if 4C is a brand name.
4C is a brand
4C is a brand of bread crumbs
I am also confused with amount of bread crumbs. Help!
Not enough onion, not enough garlic, and that bread crumb thing doesnt make sense to me either!
Ok…. 4C is a Brand of bread crumbs…lol
However, here is my changes…
1.Much better grade of Parmesan cheese than Kraft
2. Ground pork no sausage
3. Ground veal
4. No dried sun dried tomatoes
If you don’t know that 4C is a brand of meatballs you have no business making meatballs.
4C isn’t a brand of meatballs. It’s a brand of breadcrumbs. Step away from the meatballs, Bill. You have no business making them.
bahahahaha
Excuse Bill but not everyone on here lives in the U.S.A, as I surely had no clue what 4C was either. I live in Canada and perhaps the other person lives outside your country as well. Heck I saw this recipe on my Facebook page and I guess many other people do as well. So I suppose we have no business making meatballs just as I and the other person had no idea what 4C was.
Wow Bill aren’t you the bundle of cheer? I am confused about this recipe too. I’ll go else where. Where people are more friendly.
breadcrumbs
Why not make your own breadcrumbs from stale or dried bread? That way you can add herbs or grated cheese or use different kinds of bread or rolls to give more flavor.
You go girl!!! we are all here to help each other and not make anyone feel stupid. I didn’t know 4C was a brand of bread crumbs. Thank You Jessica!
Thanks, Marie! Happy cooking 🙂
What are the “needles” the author speaks of?
I think she means noodles
I wondered the same. I get super upset with people who can’t take the time to read what they wrote before posting.
Wish there was a print button.
Why don’t you all just make the meat balls and eat them. If you don’t like them don’t make them again! Amen!
No need to get upset. We are usually here to help each other. It don’t matter where you are from. Helping someone is great. No one is stupid. If its a brand you use ,then say it .What’s all the fuss about. Happy baking
