Last week, my husband worked very late and I had mentioned it to my neighbor Anne. I think she felt a bit sorry for me, or just wanted to take advantage to eat food with someone else and she invited me over her house. I was not sure what in the world we were going to do, but I knew it would likely involve food, so I made sure to wear my comfy stretchy pants for such an occasion. Well, when I walked over and entered through her door, I realized how well I had pinned the needle on the head: this was a food party!
Anne had prepared multiple dishes (even different kinds of the same dish, such as mac and cheese!). She laid them all out, chose a movie (a Hallmark movie, of course!) and we sat on the couch and began to pig out. One thing I noticed was that this was all breakfast food. We were having a breakfast for dinner party which I thought was super cool! The main dish at this little party of ours was a chicken tater tot casserole. My oh my, this was stupendous! It was loaded with chicken and lots of cheese. It was perfect!
