Because Broccoli And Bacon Go Together So Well
You know what? There comes a time in a woman’s life when she needs to be honest with herself, even if it hurts.
I’m going to be completely honest here. During the past two weeks (ok, three, since we’re being honest) I’ve had way too much chocolate. And by ‘way’ I mean WAAYY too much. I know ’twas the season and everything but I have come to a point where just the thought of chocolate is starting to make me nauseous, which means this is serious!
I first noticed it the other day when I was going to make myself a quick lunch. Which means I was about to grab a bunch of chocolate truffles with my coffee, but I just couldn’t. Instead I started searching my archives for recipes that would make my future lunches a little bit healthier (at this point anything would be healthier). I found the most amazing broccoli salad and it seemed so delicious that I had to pick up the ingredients yesterday to give it a go!

Quick Tip: You can store this in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but this salad is best served fresh.
