I haven’t tried making this in a crock pot yet but I think Carey’s idea is brilliant! I’ll make sure to try it in the future – and do let us know if you intend to do so, too. What makes this Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole amazing is that it is so versatile that you can slip in any of your favorite ingredients to have some new flavor every time you make this.
I like to cook this when I just want to enjoy a lazy day with my husband.
Ingredients
1-1/2 pounds Tyson ground beef
1 (3-oz) package Tyson real bacon bits
2 cups Kraft shredded cheddar cheese
1 (32-oz) package frozen tater tots
1 (10.75-oz) can Campbell’s condensed cheddar cheese soup
16-oz Daisy Sour Cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
Cook ground beef in a large skillet until no longer pink. Drain fat.
In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, bacon bits, cheddar cheese, tater tots, cheese soup and sour cream. Mix until throughly combined.
Spread mixture into prepared pan.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until bubbly.
