3. Chicken And Dumplings
I have a real hankering for something hearty, easy to make, and TASTY. In my mind, the only logical thing to do is to whip up a batch of slow cooker chicken and dumplings. Even in the hot weather, this meal will really hit the spot. I love how simple this dish is to make. Basically, you throw all of your ingredients into the Crock Pot, set it, and forget it. You also get to enjoy the wonderful aroma of this food wafting through your home as it cooks and simmers. So yummy!
I like to use a combination of both white and dark meat in my chicken and dumplings, but you can use whichever floats your boat. I have both white and dark meat lovers in my house so if I incorporate both types into my food, everyone is a happy camper. Serve this supper up with some buttermilk biscuits and you have yourself a winner, my dear.

Quick Tip: Feel free to add carrots, peas, or other veggies of your choosing to this meal. I like to add carrots to mine.

This makes no mention of using the crock pot. Either you missed a step or two or you didn’t adapt the recipe to the crock pot.
The start of the recipes said 5 crock pot recipes so she shouldn’t have to keep saying it.
