I struggle so much trying to find good side dishes. I can never find a recipe that I think tastes amazing while at the same time being easy enough to serve alongside a more complicated entree. Why is it that dinner has to be so complicated sometimes!? That’s why I’m really glad to find simple recipes like this.
Simple recipes make the whole day a little easier to bear. Knowing I don’t have an hours long cooking marathon ahead of me makes it so much easier to make dinner. I love that this recipe is simple, and it completely is kid friendly because of its texture and flavor. And it only needs one pot to make, making clean up a breeze. Letting my dishwasher take the night off is likely the happiest thing on the planet, knowing there isn’t a load of dishes to unload again in the morning. I promise your whole family will love this dish.
